Dear Worshippers,

WOW! I don’t know about you guys, but my 2012 has started off with a bang!

I pray that the festive season was a blessed time for all and that you experienced Christ moving through your life in a fresh and new way!  I can’t wait for us as the Worship Team of BMC to proclaim the greatness of our God and to bring Him glory this year.  My prayer is that it will be a fruitful time for all involved in the Worship at Brooklyn but also a time for all of us to stand back and reassess where we are called and what we hope to achieve for God in that place we feel called.  Attached please find a copy of the revised Worship Guidelines for Brooklyn Methodist Church.  I urge all of you to go through them and to ensure that you’re familiar with the requirements for those wanting to serve in the area of Worship.  Please take note of the Training Schedules as well as the Special Events like camps etc.

Please ensure that you fill out the Worship Commitment Form attached and return it to me by no later than 16 January 2012.  EVERYONE is required to fill it out if they feel they would like to serve in the area of Worship.

Please take note of the new regulations in terms of Training as well as Practices in the week preceding your team’s schedule Sundays as all will be required to diarise these events and attend practices.  Please ensure that if you choose to pursue Worship as your ministry in 2012 that you have the time available to do it with excellence, it is one of the more demanding ministries in our Church.  I have given out the years dates well ahead of time in order to give everyone an opportunity to diarise and prioritise them.

Thanks again to all those that have made Worship their priority and have wanted to give their time ad effort for the King! You guys are awesome!
